江戸時代の装いを現代的に再構築。 一枚の布を余さず使う伝統的な製法を守りつつ、脇の余分なシワを削ぎ落とし、襟幅を細くすることで現代の衣服として着やすい形状に整えました。伝統技法「印染」によって、繊維の芯まで深く染め抜かれています。

　　

We have reconstructed Edo-period attire for modern use. While preserving the efficient single-cloth construction, we refined the silhouette to eliminate excess bulk and slimmed the collar. Dyed using traditional "Shirushi-zome," the colour penetrates deep into the fibre core.

着物と帯の関係性を再構築した、厚手の綿バッグ。 私たちは移動の道具を、新たな応援アイテムへと再編集しました。 膝の上に置いた際、拡大されたストライプが隣り合う人と視覚的に繋がり、一体感のある応援スタイルを提案します。

　　

Reconstructed from the Obi. A heavy-weight cotton bag, reconstructed from the structural relationship between the Kimono and its sash. We have re-edited the bag—conventionally a tool for transport—into a new instrument of support. When placed on the lap, the magnified stripes visually connect with your neighbours, proposing a unified style of support.

端をあえて縫製しない「切りっぱなし」の仕様は、雑菌の繁殖を防ぐ衛生面と、緊急時に裂いて使える利便性に由来する日本古来の知恵です。表面を塞ぐプリントではなく「染め」を採用することで、綿本来の柔らかさと吸水性を損なわず、実用的な道具として機能します。

　　

The unhemmed edges are a deliberate traditional feature, designed for hygiene and to allow the cloth to be torn for emergency use. Deeply dyed rather than printed, the fabric retains the cotton's natural softness and absorbency, functioning as a practical tool for daily life.
